Hi, I'm Kathryn!

I'm a Graphic & UI/UX Designer who enjoys working at the intersection of research, collaboration, and thoughtful, impactful design. My approach is rooted in curiosity, understanding people, solving real problems, and creating experiences that are both beautiful and functional.

I've worked across a range of fields, including health, public services, and finance, which has shaped a flexible, research-driven design practice and strong collaboration skills. I'm currently doing design work with organizations such as WelTel Health and Trades Training BC, contributing to projects that support accessibility, clarity, and real user needs.

I also design and build. This portfolio was designed and developed by me using Next.js, which allows me to think holistically about how designs translate into production. I always aim for the best possible outcome while recognizing that design is an ongoing process of learning, testing, and refinement.

When I'm not designing or making art in some form, you'll find me riding my bike around Vancouver, playing guitar, or learning new languages for travel.
